The Scottish government says that refugee integration should start from day one when refugees and people seeking asylum arrive. But how can we start to integrate when we are forced to live in a temporary house that is not big enough for our family. We can’t touch the house or make any changes to make it our home. This is really difficult as our lives are on pause until we move once again.

We have no place that feels like home.
