Dear me - a Letter to Myself

Dear Me,

I know you feel it—this deep ache that comes not only from your own heart but from the world around you. The heaviness in others’ eyes, the quiet cries that are never spoken aloud. We all carry it, this invisible weight, yet somehow we still stand. Because we are human, and that is our gift: to feel everything, to hold each other even when we are breaking ourselves.

There’s a beauty in this shared emptiness, in how we, as fragile as we are, still try to fill each other up. We are all cracked, chipped, but it is through those cracks that we can reach one another. That’s the secret—no one is whole, but together, we can build something close to it. We are not perfect, but we are able to love, even when it hurts. Especially when it hurts.

In a world where so much is uncertain, people are the constant. We love because it is the only thing we have that is real. Despite everything, despite the heartbreak, the loss, the misunderstandings, we reach out to each other because we know, somewhere deep down, that without this connection, we are nothing.

You feel this weight, not just for yourself but for everyone who suffers. That’s why it feels so heavy, why the loneliness stings so sharply—because you know that others are carrying it too. But here’s the truth: we are never alone. The pain we share binds us together, and in that connection, there is something profound, something sacred. We are all just trying to love and be loved in a world that can be so unforgiving.

But remember this: in each person you meet, in each soul you touch, there is potential. Potential for love, for kindness, for healing. And that is what makes us great—not because we are perfect, but because we keep trying. We keep showing up for each other, even when it feels like everything is falling apart. We are all we have, and that is enough.

So, yes, you feel broken, and yes, others are broken too. But that’s what makes us human. That’s what makes us capable of the greatest love. We heal by holding each other through the darkness, by recognizing the humanity in one another. In the end, all we have is each other—and that is everything.

With all the love and hope,
Yourself.
